San Antonio women are celebrating one of their own as Kamala Harris becomes the first woman of color to be inaugurated as vice president of the United States.
Harris joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, the country s first Black sorority, in 1986 during her college years at Howard University. The sorority has graduate and undergraduate presence in San Antonio.
